The most compact bridge plug, with one of the largest through bores in the industry, providing a 7,500 psi, API-11D V3 rated barrier with in-flow, thru-tubing deployment.
The unique IX plug uses expansion technology to achieve the combined benefits of a reduced size with impressive sealing performance. With a flexible design, these retrievable or permanent sealing solutions can be tailored to your well and individual project to solve a variety of complex challenges. The technology offer operators a fast and cost-effective method of isolating unproductive well zones, re-instating integrity and supporting P&A operations. It can be used as a retrievable or permanent plug, packer, packoff, hanger, anchor or straddle for zonal isolation, workover or abandonment.
The size of the plug and setting tool combination means that the toolstring is lighter and easier to handle and a shorter riser can be used. It is ideally combined with our Surface Intervention System for enhanced rigless efficiencies.
The slip assembly prevents debris ingress during deployment then, once at depth, the plug slips are set and the sealing element is energised. Once set, the element is boosted by well pressure and an integral beam spring ensures compensated packer load between the element and the slip system during pressure and temperature reversals. Jarring up disengages the setting mechanism and the unique design enables active retraction of the slips and the element gauge rings for ease of retrieval.
