Unity continues to deliver rapid production restoration solutions to its clients and this latest project has enabled a high producing gas well to be brought back online within two days of mobilisation.
We deployed our compact lightweight technology to provide barrier setting and remedial operations to fix a leaking Xmas Tree production wing valve. Due to the nature of the failure and its timing coinciding with increased gas market demand, speed of turnaround was paramount.
Unity’s Surface Intervention System, Compact Shear-Seal BOP, XMT spare parts, pressure control equipment and expert technicians were mobilised within a week of the initial call.
The workscope included inspection, testing and data recording in addition to the valve repair, to thoroughly assess the tree, surface barriers and actuator functions. All operations were completed successfully first time, ensuring the integrity of the surface equipment, with no NPT and excellent feedback from the client team.
We’re looking forward to supporting this operator again as part of its scheduled maintenance and integrity programmes.
