Subsea Technology
Subsea Technology Suite
Our ultra-light, open-water suite of technology simplifies subsea operations and reduces the cost burden for intervention and abandonment operations.
We've adapted surface technology to suit subsea environments and passed on competitive pricing.
Designed for the majority of wells, in the majority of regions, in shallow water depths - we provide everything you need and nothing you don't.
If you have an individual requirement or unusual challenge then don't forget, our engineering team can design something just for you.
Temporary Abandonment Cap Test Tools (TACTT) – A unique suite of open water intervention tools to enable temporarily abandoned wells to be pressure tested, and if necessary vented, to enable safe and efficient abandonment . The technology is ideal for LWIV abandonment but can also be deployed from a rig. If pressure buildup is detected the tool can install a secondary well barrier for later rig-based abandonment.
Subsea Rigless Access System (RSAS) (In development) – The lightest open water intervention system on the market. The RSAS is designed for live well intervention in water depths up to 300m with a working pressure of 5,000psi, ideal for mature assets. Using field proven technology, with original surface cost benefits, the RSAS will improve the bottom line of your rigless subsea intervention, integrity and abandonment operations.
Subsea Compact Shear-Seal BOP Valve - A modular and stackable assembly designed for open-water intervention operations with reduced size and weight. It simplifies wellsite handling and improves efficiency and safety by avoiding heavy lifting and access restrictions. As a dual, triple or quad stack up, it can deliver both pipe ram and shear ram functionality. The CSS can be supplied as part of a serviced package with our RSAS, or for sale or rent.
Subsea QV Actuator - These hydraulically operated, failsafe gate-valve actuators are suitable for intervention strings or subsea Xmas Trees. They are available in a range of sizes with wire cutting options. When coupled with our cross-over adaptor, the actuators can be installed without removing the existing bonnet and breaking well containment. This allows operators to replace obsolete, failed or end-of-life actuators quickly, without costly plug setting operations.
