Compact Valve Removal Tool (CVR)
Unity’s CVR tool is the ideal solution for installing and retrieving valve removal (VR) plugs in tight wellbays. It uses a modular rod system allowing ease of transport and assembly on site. When assembled it measures just 795mm x 244mm x 457mm (31.3″ x 9.6″ x 18″).
The tool is hand operated using a hand wheel and a conventional bolt torque system to drive the VR plugs in and out of the VR profile. It can also use standard hydraulic pressure equipment for up to 1,200 lb/ft torque.
